If you’re considering studying a science subject at university, don’t miss St Mary’s celebration of the 30th anniversary of British Science Week on the 14th March!
You can either attend our morning or afternoon session. The morning slot runs between 09:30am – 12pm and the afternoon between 12:30pm – 3pm.

Event information
You will hear from our Dean of Sport, Technology and Health Sciences, Dr Leanne Griffiths and have the opportunity to go on a campus tour with current students who can answer any questions you have about university level study.
You will be able to take part in many inspiring demonstrations including virtual reality and gaming, the neuroscience and biomechanics of movement, the science of nutrition and so much more.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the ground-breaking research conducted at our University and the many degrees that we teach, as well as visit our campus.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for any secondary school, sixth form or college students to experience university-level research in science-based subjects, and it is of particular benefit to students with interests in Psychology, Sport Psychology, Sport Sciences, Health Sciences, Computer Sciences or Social Sciences.
This event is part of St Mary’s commitment to increase awareness of important issues within society.
