The Centre for Catholic Education, Research and Religious Literacy have released their programme of seminars for 2023/24.
Schedule of seminars
All seminars will begin at midday, unless stated otherwise. The programme of seminars is as follows:
- 9th February 2024 – Prof Richard Rymarz, The Australian Institute of Theological Education.
- 16th February 2024 – Professor Tom O'Donoghue - University of Western Australia, the case for investigating the neglected matter of the experience of being a lay teacher in Catholic schools from the middle of the nineteenth century until the early 1970s.
- 13th March 2024 – Jeremy Olusola, University of Worcester, the Muslim experience of education.
- 1st May 2024 – Prof Deirdre Raftery, University College Dublin, Catholic childhoods and convent schooling: historical perspectives.
