On 28 February 2026, the Centre for Marian Studies is holding a Saturday Seminar on the theme of Marian apparitions. The event will begin at 2pm in the UK (8am US CT; 9am US ET; 3pm in France).
We are delighted that three experts in the field have accepted the invitation to be our guest speakers.
Dr Chris Maunder (The Centre for Marian Studies), author of Our Lady of the Nations: Apparitions of Mary in 20th Century Catholic Europe (2016), will give a paper entitled 'Responding to Apparition Movements: The Norms of 2024'.
Lauren Montenegro (Free University of Amsterdam) will discuss her doctoral research into the influence of 2000 years of Marian apparitions.
Dr Joe Evans (Villanova University and Research Fellow at the Mother Teresa Institute, USA) will explore the implications of Mary’s appearances (and appeal) to non-Christians in Asia.
