Future Simmies Social - 26th July

We’re excited to invite you to a special event designed to help you connect with your future classmates before the academic year begins. Whether you’ll be living on campus or commuting, this is your chance to meet people who’ll be with you on your journey at St Mary’s. Make friends, find your community, and enjoy your break now that exams are all over - when Freshers’ Week arrives, you’ll already know a few friendly faces!

• Free BBQ: enjoy some delicious food on us!
• Outdoor games and activities: with prizes up for grabs.
• Human bingo cards, with a chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher!
• Craft stations: create something unique for your room or study space.
• Meet the Students’ Union, who will also be handing out freebies!
• Local employers: discover part-time opportunities at companies in the area and at St Mary’s.
• Try our free St Mary’s themed mocktails, from Strawberry Fizz to Simmie Storm.
• Campus Tours: first time visiting? Let our current students show you around.
• Ask our Accommodation Team anything! The team will be here to answer any questions you may have about moving in this September.

This event is informal, and a chance for you to socialise with your future classmates. Parents and supporters are welcome to join too if they wish. We’re here to support you too as you help your young person make this exciting next step.

Postgraduate applicants joining us in September are also welcome to register.
