Biography

Mr Khwaja is a senior Cyber Risk and policy expert within the UK Government, supporting national resilience and innovation; UN IYQ Ambassador & Global Speaker on Quantum Computing, Ethical AI, and Cybersecurity.

Past associations

Director of Cyber and Technology Risk, Vocalink (a Mastercard company); Southern Europe Fraud Lead for Visa Europe, Vice President of Barclays Investment Bank; Senior Risk Manager, HSBC; Manager of Technology, Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance at Deloitte.

Mr Khwaja is a global speaker at prestigious conferences and world leaders’ meetings including the Davos Summit, World Economic Forum, European Economic Forum, Pan African AI Summit ‘Empowering Africa’s Future Through AI Innovation,’ and numerous other notable venues.

Mr Khwaja holds an MSc from Oxford University, AI in Public Policy from the Policy Institute School for Government at King’s College and an MSc from the prestigious Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Pakistan, where he was honoured by the late Benazir Bhutto.
