St Cecilia’s Day Music Festival

Strawberry Hill Overseas and Community Concern (SHOCC) invites you to a celebration of St Mary’s 175th Anniversary.

Highlights include:

Friday 21 November, 7.30pm, Waldegrave Drawing Room

Refreshments will be served from 7pm.

Fundraising concert for the girls of Kisaki School, Tanzania

Sibelius Violin Concerto with Julia Yoon (violin) and Michael Bevan (Piano)

Gerald Finzi Song Cycle with John Holland-Avery (Baritone)

Vivaldi Four Seasons, “Winter” and Romantic Miniatures Gideon Gray (cello).

Saturday 22 November, 4.30pm, University Chapel

Vespers sung by the Southwell Consort.

Saturday 22 November, 7.30pm, Waldegrave Drawing Room

Romantic Songs Dominic Bevan (tenor) and Rachael Shipard (piano).

Sunday 23 November, 3.30pm, University Chapel

St Mary’s New Sounds featuring Bach and Buxtehude Organ Compositions with

Ian Coleman (organ) and introducing St Mary’s Choral Scholars 2025.

Mass will follow at 5pm.
