We warmly invite you to join us for a day of facilitated discussion, networking and knowledge exchange about current and pressing teaching practices.
Academics from the School of Education and research practitioners will explore the many dimensions of artificial intelligence in schools, considering both opportunities and challenges. We will examine how AI can support learning, reduce workload, and enhance teaching practices, while also addressing important questions around sustainability, safeguarding, ethics, and equity. There will be opportunities to critically reflect on how schools can harness AI ensuring it supports staff and students and protects wellbeing while aligning with core values in education.
The purpose of the day is to facilitate discussion between school and university-based educators and offer an opportunity for networking, collaboration and reflection. The event is free for all to attend and lunch will be provided.
Please do get in touch with Dr Jane Chambers and Jemima Davey to find out more.
