University College to Host Brooks Track Attack Event

Athletics brand, Brooks, is hosting a junior running event at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham this weekend. Saturday 27^th April will see 300 school children, from the ages 5-11, take part in a series of races, including the 150m, 300m and one mile. Showcasing St Mary’s and Brooks’ passion for athletics, the day aims to inspire young runners. The event will take advantage of the University College’s state-of-the-art sporting facilities, in particular the 100m straight track where temporary seating for spectators, a DJ and inflatables have all been arranged to create a fun environment. Each participant will conclude the day by receiving a ‘goodie bag’ containing bespoke Brooks items. The day starts at 10am, with athletes from St Mary’s Endurance Performance and Coaching Centre (EPACC) taking part in races at 12.30pm and 3.15pm.
