Endurance Performance and Coaching Centre

The St Mary’s EPACC provides an endurance running programme and an environment that is known internationally as one of the best training setups in the world. Established in partnership with the Virgin London Marathon, the EPACC has the following mission:

To provide an endurance performance environment that supports, challenges and develops elite runners, inspires beginners, fosters and tests talent and promotes excellence in the coaches who work with them.

St Mary’s provides a perfect environment for all standards of runner. Dedicated on-site accommodation, a floodlit track, a modern strength and conditioning facility and extensive running in nearby Bushy and Richmond Parks. Alongside this runners can access world-class coaching and support services; expertise that has been developed since the programme started in 2001.

Timetable

  • 9.30am: Welcome by performance coaches Craig Winrow and Michael Woods
  • 10am: Training Session with current EPACC squad (Take part or observe)
  • 12pm: Buffet lunch
  • 12.45pm: Campus and sports facilities tour
  • 1.30pm: University Life at St Mary's
  • 2pm: Q&A with current EPACC athletes
  • 2.15pm: EPACC Support Services
  • 2.30pm: Final Questions
