Welcome to St Mary's Employability Services!
We are here to support students and graduates to develop their employability so they are able to succeed in their career goals.
Through our Centre for Workplace Learning we run a suite of workplace learning modules including work placements supported through our dedicated placement team.
Our Careers Services team also offer free, confidential, impartial information, advice and guidance for every stage of the career planning process, from having no idea about which career you are interested in to applying for a job, including:
- How to develop employability skills and experiences at university e.g. internships, work placements, study abroad.
- Preparing tailored CVs and applications for work and further study
- Networking and professional development
- Interview preparation
- How to search for jobs as well as access to our online jobs board with careers content, part-time jobs, internships and holiday work, work placements and volunteering opportunities.
Appointments are available to students, graduates and staff members looking to progress their career.
We also have various career events on campus and online throughout the year, which allows students and graduates the opportunity to meet with employers. As part of the University of London Careers Group network, our students can also access wider group events such as the Gradventure entrepreneurship competition and the joint vacancy feed.
Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube to see more of what we do.
