More information about what the Careers Service offers for students and graduates can be found on SIMMSpace or by following our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts. You can also find out more regarding what events and support we offer for alumni via our Graduate and alumni careers support page.
How can I access the service?
You can make use of our services by speaking to or emailing our Office Coordinator ( Matt).
Matt can help you book a 15 or 30 minute appointment to speak with a Careers Consultant (ideal for CV and application feedback, or as an initial career planning discussion), or you can book an appointment to have a longer in-depth careers discussion or even take part in a specially tailored mock interview.
Matt can also suggest appropriate materials for you within our extensive careers library (includes reference, take-away and electronic materials, many of which are also available on SIMMSpace).
If you are a parent looking for support, click our ' Guide for parents.'
As well as our professional and approachable in-house service, our team can also direct students, graduates and staff to relevant support networks on and off campus, ensuring that each individual is supported in the manner that benefits them best.
