Our Widening Participation and Student Recruitment teams engage with learners and teachers throughout the academic year.

The Widening Participation and Outreach Team develops engaging programmes that address and help remove some of the barriers that young people may face in accessing Higher Education. They deliver a range of projects with specific target schools and colleges populations and prioritise working with children and young people from areas of the population that are traditionally under-represented or disadvantaged in Higher Education.

Our Student Recruitment Team is responsible for organising and hosting all our on campus undergraduate open days, experience days and postgraduate open evening events for prospective students. They also manage and attend UCAS exhibitions, HE exhibitions and career fairs in schools and colleges throughout the UK. The team also delivers information, advice and guidance sessions for post-16 learners considering university level study.
