Later this month, the Drama St Mary’s Theatre at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham will perform their new play The Story of a Room, a tale of love, deceit, murder and ‘absolute justice’.
The play, which is a free adaptation of Friedrich Durrenmatt’s The Marriage of Mr. Mississippi, will be performed by second year Physical Theatre students and directed by St Mary’s alumnus Kieran Edwards. Since graduating, Kieran has worked with the internationally acclaimed New International Encounter theatre company.
Using storytelling, ensemble play and clowning, audiences will meet confused communist revolutionaries, mad doctors, and one persuasive woman whose actions lead to the downfall of many men.
Performances will take place from Thursday 28th February to Saturday 2nd March at 7.30pm in the Drama St Mary’s Theatre. Tickets cost £5 and are available to students, staff and members of the public. For more information and to buy tickets, please visit the Drama St Mary’s website
