Monday 25th February to Friday 1st of March saw students at St Mary’s University College, Twickenham take part in Raising and Giving (RAG) Week 2013. A host of activities organised by St Mary’s Students’ Union took place throughout the five days, with a total of £5,264 being raised for charity, £600 more than last year.
During RAG Week, the Students’ Union Bar held a variety of different events including a zoo party and an acoustic night. Proceeds from the events are being donated to St Mary’s own charity Strawberry Hill Overseas and Community Concern (SHOCC), Bulembu and Make a Wish Foundation.
RAG Week takes place in universities across the UK as a way for students to raise money for charity.
St Mary’s Raises Over £5,000 During RAG Week
