A number of athletes from the Endurance Performance and Coaching Centre (EPACC) at St Mary’s University, Twickenham achieved success at the Sainsbury's Glasgow International Match, which took place on Saturday 25th January at the Emirates Arena. Four runners from the EPACC were chosen to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the event and Craig Winrow, Performance Coach and EPACC Co-ordinator at St Mary’s, also coached the team. The athletes, who all recorded seasonal best performances, represented Great Britain in four out of the five endurance events with St Mary’s alumnus and 800m Olympic finalist Andrew Osagie finishing third in the Men’s 600m run. Current student Charlie Grice also finished third in the 1500m race. Andy Vernon ran the 3000m race and came in second place with a qualifying time for the upcoming IAAF World Indoor Championships, while Jemma Simpson came fourth in the Women’s 1500m race.
