Four students at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, who have formed their own theatre company are preparing to perform an original production in London this month.
Mona Becker, Louise Hynes, Marie Keiser-Nielsen and Hannah Martin, all students on St Mary’s MA in Physical Theatre programme, have combined their talents to form the Lost Goose Theatre Company. As part of the course, the group will perform their play Havarie at the Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden from Wednesday 11th June to Friday 13th June.
Havarie tells the story of two sisters who leave home in search of adventure on a boat. With only each other for company they entertain each other with stories but are soon consumed by a growing loneliness. It soon emerges that they are harbouring a secret about the day their home was attacked, the reason behind their decision to leave home.
The play is one of two to be performed at the theatre as part of the Drama St Mary’s in the West End 2014 Season. The play starts at 7.30pm each night and tickets can be purchased from the Drama St Mary’s website.
