The Samoa Rugby Team recently visited St Mary’s University, Twickenham for a day’s training ahead of their match against England in the Autumn Internationals this weekend.
The team, who will be playing against England at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 22nd November, visited St Mary’s campus to use its state-of-the-art training facilities including the Rugby pitch and strength and conditioning suite.
St Mary’s is a leading university for sport, regularly hosting elite athletes and sports teams, including New Zealand and South Africa who will be based at St Mary’s as part of Rugby World Cup 2015.
St Mary’s Director for Sport Andrew Reid-Smith said, “We are proud to work with international squads so frequently and we were glad to be able to offer Samoa an excellent training environment ahead of their next Autumn Internationals match.
