The Careers Service at St Mary’s University, Twickenham held its popular annual Teaching Fair on Friday 16th January, welcoming more than 48 exhibitors.
Now in its 11th year, the annual fair offers students on St Mary’s undergraduate and postgraduate teacher training courses the opportunity to seek careers advice and meet with potential employers.
The 2015 event saw new and returning exhibitors including local education authorities teaching unions, local Diocese and Catholic School Partnerships, and teaching agencies offering full-time, part-time or supply work for Newly Qualified Teachers.
Head of St Mary’s Careers Magdalen Attwater said, “Our Teaching Fair attracts more and more exhibitors each year, suggesting that our students are seen as increasingly attractive to the employing market. I am delighted with the popularity of the event and would like to thank all our staff, students and exhibitors for making it such a success.”
