St Mary’s University, Twickenham has been ranked eighth in the UK for graduate employability with 96% of its students finding work or going into further study within six months of graduating.
The statistics released on Thursday (2nd July) by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) marked an improvement in St Mary’s performance from 94% last year beating all other London-based institutions.
St Mary's Vice Chancellor Francis Campbell said, "Graduate employment at St Mary’s has been very strong for a while and is one of the reasons students come to study here. It’s fantastic that it has improved still further especially when you consider how tough the jobs market is for young people. Being the highest ranked London university is a tremendous achievement and credit to all our recent graduates who have used their time with us to such great effect.”
