A Business Management BA academic at St Mary’s University, Twickenham appeared as a panellist at the inaugural Digital Richmond event.

Senior Lecturer Dr Chi Maher was invited to be on the eight-person panel of last week’s event organised by Richmond Upon Thames London Borough Council (RUTLBC) and CPG Executive Consulting.

The event, which took place at Clarendon Hall in York House, Twickenham, brought together local businesses, entrepreneurs, educators and sector leaders to share the Borough’s tech ambition.

Dr Maher told those attending the event about St Mary’s approach to deliver industry-specific skills and subjects to ensure students are ‘equipped for life and not just their first job’.

She added, “Students are provided with learning, experience and the environment in which there is a culture that embraces digital learning, digital literacy and digital skills.”
