Drama St Mary’s Offer Two Full Scholarships in Partnership with The Stage

The Drama department at St Mary’s University, Twickenham has partnered with leading entertainment and theatre publication The Stage to offer two full scholarships for its BA Acting programme.

The Stage Scholarship scheme provides an important opportunity for students wishing to access dance and drama education. The two Drama St Mary’s Scholarships are worth a combined £55,500 and will give two students the opportunity to undertake their undergraduate theatre training in full.

Based only a short distance from the centre of London and the West End, Drama St Mary’s combines the best drama school training within a university context.

The BA Acting course prepares students for professional work in the theatre, television, and film industry, offering an intense vocational training programme over a three-year period. Voice and movement classes, acting and performance classes make up the body of the course, with contextual studies exploring theatre in a wider context. Throughout training, there are regular guest lectures, and the university even boasts its own theatre, the Exchange, in nearby Twickenham.

Alumni of Drama St Mary’s include the chart-topping singer-songwriter Tom Grennan, stand-up comedian and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Nabil Abdul Rashid, BBC Journalist Lara Lewington, and award-winning playwright Monsay Witney.
