Renowned Author Anthony McGowan to Deliver Creative Writing Seminar

Award winning author and lecturer at St Mary’s University, Twickenham (SMU) Anthony McGowan is delivering the next School of Liberal and Creative Arts Research Seminar on Tuesday 17^th October.

A lecturer in Creative Writing on the undergraduate programme and the MA Creative Writing: First Novel, Anthony is a renowned children's and young adult author. Anthony has written over forty books and his most recent novel Dogs of the Deadlands won the Carnegie Medal in 2020 and was September's Blackwell's Children's Book of the Month.

The seminar will give you the opportunity to hear from Anthony talk about his writing and research. It is taking place in the Senior Common Room at 5.30pm with refreshments provided.
