St Mary’s Business Faculty Offers Free Entrepreneurial Finance Workshop to Local Community

Senior Lecturer Marios Konstantinidis from the Faculty of Business and Law at St Mary’s will be holding a free Entrepreneurial Finance workshop for local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Academics from the Faculty of Business and Law at St Mary’s University, Twickenham (SMU) will be holding weekly Business Advice Clinic workshops and sessions for local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The Business Advice Clinic is held every Wednesday from 12-1pm, at Patch in Twickenham. The final session will be held on Tuesday 14th May instead of Wednesday.

The next Business Advice Clinic session is on Wednesday 24th April 12-1pm, and will be a free workshop on Entrepreneurial Finance, led by Business Senior Lecturer at SMU Marios Konstantinidis.

Marios is a Senior Lecturer and the Subject Head of Management Online at SMU. He has 17 years experience working in corporate finance, and his current research and teaching interests include SME entrepreneurship and innovation strategy, digital entrepreneurship, and global education trends.

Marios also holds an MBA from Imperial College London, an MSc in Finance from the University of Baltimore, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and the Higher Education Academy.

Speaking on the upcoming workshop, Marios said, “For anyone thinking of embarking on their entrepreneurial journey, or have a small business that they want to grow, this workshop will help you understand the essentials of entrepreneurial finance. This includes sources of finance available, how to prepare a financial plan, and working with different types of investors.”
