St Mary’s University, Twickenham will mark its 30th anniversary of celebrating British Science Week this March.

On Thursday 14th March, St Mary’s will be holding morning and afternoon sessions for prospective science students at the University to mark British Science Week.

Attendees will hear from St Mary’s Dean of Sport, Technology and Health Sciences, Dr Leanne Griffiths, about the ground-breaking research conducted at the University.

They will also be able to take part in inspiring demonstrations led by St Mary’s academics, including virtual reality and gaming, the neuroscience and biomechanics of movement, and the science of nutrition.

The event is a great opportunity for secondary school, sixth form, and college students to experience university-level research in science-based subjects in Psychology, Sport Psychology, Sport Sciences, Health Sciences, Computer Sciences, and Social Sciences.

There will also be the opportunity for attendees to go on a campus tour with current students, asking them any questions about university-level study and life at St Mary’s.
