This includes providing a platform for collaborative close to practice research and a commitment to focusing on transformative pedagogy. ReflectED is a journal that celebrates intellectual curiosity, encourages interdisciplinary dialogue, and supports the growth of researchers and practitioners at all stages of their academic journey.
ReflectED Purpose and Aims
ReflectED exists to:
- Enable dissemination of research: Provide a high-quality, accessible outlet for both ongoing and completed research within and beyond St Mary’s University.
- Foster collaboration: Bring together researchers, practitioners, and students in shared enquiry and knowledge exchange.
- Develop academic capability: Offer practical opportunities and structured support for writing, editing, and peer reviewing, which empowers individuals to engage confidently in scholarly publishing.
- Reflect educational practice and research: Highlight work aligned with the mission and values of the Research Centre for Education by promoting reflective, evidence-informed approaches to teaching, learning, and leadership.
