Italian for Beginners
Learn Italian in London with St Mary's University. The Italian for Beginners course is designed for anyone with little or no previous knowledge of the Italian language, or for those who would like to refresh their basic language skills.
Throughout the course, you will develop your vocabulary, grammar and conversational skills in a supportive and interactive environment. You'll gain the confidence to communicate in everyday situations while also discovering the rich culture, traditions and customs of Italy.
Whether you're planning a holiday, learning for personal interest, preparing for work, or simply love the Italian language and culture, this course provides the perfect introduction.
Please note: this course is not suitable for international students requiring a short-term student visitor visa.
Beginners 1 and 2
We offer two beginner levels throughout the academic year.
Beginners 1 is the ideal starting point for complete beginners.
Beginners 2 builds on the knowledge gained in Beginners 1 and allows you to continue developing your language skills with greater confidence.
You should complete Beginners 1 before progressing to Beginners 2.
