St Mary’s Scorpions is St Mary’s cheerleading team.
We have two competitive teams who compete in the level one and level two, all-girl and coed divisions. We are the most recent recipients of ‘Most Improved Club of the Year’ at the 2023 St Mary’s Sports Dinner and we have our sights set on more regional and national titles.
Our coed level one team became regional champions in 2023 and placed second at nationals. Our all-girl level two team are current regional and national champions.
You do not need any cheerleading experience to come along to our taster and trial sessions and we can offer everyone a space on either a competitive or development team. We work hard throughout the year to ensure everyone builds confidence, learns new skills, and enjoys their cheerleading season.
We have many St Mary’s Scorpions current cheerleaders and alumni who compete on all-star level 3+ teams as well as cheerleaders who go on to compete at the cheerleading world championships!
Alongside the cheerleading we also have a big social aspect to our club and hold weekly socials and fundraising events throughout the year. Please keep an eye on our socials for club updates and how you can get involved!
