Christmas break information for resident students

Resident students can remain in and use their rooms over the Christmas period.

The University will be closed from Tuesday 23 December 2025 to Monday 5 January 2026. During this time, departmental offices will be closed, and most on-campus services will be unavailable. Information on the residential meal plan it detailed below.

Student Senior Residents and Resident Mentors are unavailable during this time.
Security will be on-site 24/7 and should be contacted in emergencies only on 0208 240 4335 or in-person at the Security Lodge at main reception.
