We’re excited to welcome you to our university community. Welcome Week is designed to help you settle in, meet others, and find your way around, and will include a mix of academic and social activities.
Your first week of welcome activities and events is usually the same week as your .
Make sure you go to a Student Essentials session which is happening on Monday to Friday, but otherwise see what takes your fancy. If you're joining activities organised by the Student Union, don't forget to for details and buy your freshers wrist bands for evening activities.

Meet your Student Union Sabbs on Monday and Tuesday, and our friendly Student Services team on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the Piazza.
Stay active
SIMMSactive and SIMMSROX sessions - make new friends, join friendly matches of football, basketball, badminton, or pickleball.
Be creative
Relax, bring your friends or make new ones at pottery painting and craft activity sessions.
Join social events
Faculty socials, karaoke, board games, and Freshers Fayre - take your pick or join as many as you want.
