The MSc Digital Health at St Mary’s University, London, prepares you to lead at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Digital health encompasses a wide range of innovations, including artificial intelligence, telehealth, wearable technologies and health data systems, all of which are transforming how care is delivered, managed and experienced.
Developed in response to national and global priorities for a digitally skilled workforce, this programme equips you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver safer, more efficient and more equitable healthcare. You’ll explore how digital technologies can improve patient outcomes, support prevention, and widen access to care, while addressing challenges such as data governance, ethics and inclusion.

Entry requirements

Previous degree
We welcome applicants from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds.
You should normally have:

A 2:2 honours degree or above in a relevant subject (such as healthcare, life sciences, computing, data science or digital technologies) or
-
Equivalent professional qualifications or relevant experience
International requirements
IELTS 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
All applicants must meet the general entry requirements of St Mary’s University.
Fees & funding
Alumni discount
A 20% tuition fee discount is available for our alumni (undergraduate and PGCE) planning to study this Master's degree. Those studying for a PGDip of PGCert are not eligible for the discount.
Funding
Except for any iQTS courses, you can check on the UK government website to see if you may be eligible for a loan of up to £12,167 to help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate programme.
Home and international students for non-iQTS courses may also be eligible for external sources of funding. International students should check their eligibility for our International Scholarship.
