St Mary’s University, Twickenham is asking students Where Next? as part of a new undergraduate recruitment campaign.
The ‘Where Next?’ slogan will appear on print materials and digital media, including the new undergraduate prospectus, which was this week, and aims to get students thinking about how higher education at the University can help to positively shape their future.
St Mary’s was awarded full university title in January 2014 and attracts around 1,200 UK and international undergraduate students each year and the new prospectus showcases everything the University has to offer.
Francis Campbell, who was recently appointed as Vice-Chancellor and will join St Mary’s in April, opens the prospectus by saying, “By choosing St Mary’s you will not just be choosing a University, but a home away from home. Teaching is student focused, preparing you to realise your true potential and we have an excellent track-record of placing graduates in top professional careers and opening up postgraduate opportunities.”
The prospectus and campaign was developed by St Mary’s Marketing team, headed by Marketing Manager Ruth Mellor and project managed by Daniel Swindlehurst, using brand and design agency Mytton Williams.
Bob Mytton, Partner and Creative Director at Mytton Williams said, “Throughout our 10 year relationship with St Marys, we have been given the chance to creatively communicate the essence of the University and showcase what it can offer students. The 2015/16 prospectus really reflects what an impressive University St Marys is, and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with them on this campaign.”
As part of the launch, a new two-minute promotional video has also been released on St Mary’s external website showcasing the highlights of student life on campus, from lectures to sports and social events. The video has been produced by creative film and video production agency Spectrecom, who have also created a presenter-led video, which takes viewers on a tour of St Mary’s Strawberry Hill campus.
St Mary’s Marketing Manager Ruth Mellor said, “St Mary’s ethos is founded on supporting students through their education and preparing them for working life with excellent teaching and research, work placements and study abroad schemes. St Mary’s really prepares students for their career after graduating, and this is demonstrated with our 94% graduate employment rate.
“Our ‘Where Next?’ campaign reflects the opportunities that open up to students who study with us and we look forward to meeting with prospective students at our open days and UCAS events over the next few months.”
