After completing your first semester in London, you will have the option of spending the second semester at one of France’s leading institutions for ethical business and management studies.
Established with support from the business community, EMD Marseilles is renowned for employability and maintains impressive links to national and international organisations, including HSBC, SNCF (The French National Rail Network) and Xerox.
Please note: the option to study in Marseilles is only available to UK and EU students.

Marseilles is a major hub for international trade and therefore many attractions have been borne out of that heritage.
The city has a vibrant cultural scene with lots of theatres, museums, galleries and shops. The proximity of the Management School to national rail networks and other universities provides endless opportunities for you to explore.

Accommodation and cost of living
Advice and guidance with finding accommodation will be provided. Generally, the cost of living is slightly cheaper than elsewhere in France and significantly less expensive than London.
You should try to organise your accommodation as soon as you can, covering the duration of your time in Marseilles (early January - late May).
- A single room in a house can cost in the region of 300€ per month
- A studio or one bed apartment from 350€ to 650€ per month
Language support for non-French speakers
The programme will be delivered entirely in English, however, it is advised to learn some basic French before you travel.
Every effort will be made to place students with English-speaking businesses as part of the 'International Business Management in Practice' module.
