Anthropometry courses
Our internationally recognised ISAK anthropometry short courses are designed for professionals working in sport, exercise, and health.
These ISAK anthropometry courses provide the practical skills and accreditation required to carry out high-quality anthropometric assessment in applied settings.
Our Level 1 ISAK Anthropometry course is ideal for sport and exercise science students, nutritionists, sports rehabilitators, and physiotherapists who require specialist training in anthropometric profiling. On successful completion, participants will gain Level 1 ISAK accreditation, valid for four years, along with ISAK membership, enabling them to perform standardised measurements in line with international best practice.
For qualified practitioners, we also offer a Level 1 ISAK Reaccreditation course, designed to support the ongoing professional development of ISAK-accredited anthropometrists. As ISAK qualifications require renewal every four years, this course provides the opportunity to refresh technical skills, reassess measurement accuracy, and maintain both ISAK accreditation and membership.
Both courses are delivered by Programme Director and Level 3 Anthropometrist, James Fleming, here at St Mary's University.
