Lecturer - Nutrition
James Fleming began teaching/lecturing since graduating from The University of Southampton in Sport Science in 2008. James’ passion lies in sports performance and nutrition and upon attaining an MSc in Applied Sports Nutrition at St Marys University he began lecturing on the Nutrition and Health and Exercise Science Programmes. James is carrying out a part time PhD investigating ‘Nutrition and Recovery in Tennis’, an area of sports nutrition under researched to date, and is excited about providing evidence based support to tennis athletes and practitioners. James also works as a Performance Nutritionist for the RFU (specifically the England Women’s Under 20’s Rugby programme), and continues to build on his performance nutrition portfolio.
