Born in Gibraltar and having pursued a teaching certificate at St Mary's (now honorary B.Ed. of course), John has been a freelance author, editor, and consultant in the ornamental aquatic industry since 1983. Professor Ronald Barnett is Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Education, University College London. For five decades he has studied higher education, developing a social philosophy of the university and advancing practical principles, and he continues today, teaching, writing, examining, and advising. Claudia is the holder of six Ultramarathon World Records. She also holds a Guiness World Record for the fastest marathon in a non-racing wheelchair by a female.
