Biography
Alia is Admissions and Assessment Officer for the School of Medicine. She organises the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) that all candidates have to undertake as part of the Admissions process for our MBBS course, helping to recruit assessors, from clinicians to professional services staff, in order to support successful MMI delivery. Going forward into the first academic year of the MBBS, Alia will also be responsible for coordinating the planning and delivery of OSCEs across the MBBS programme.
Prior to joining St Mary's, Alia worked in various administrative functions within both public and private healthcare settings in London before taking a break to spend time with her children.
In her spare time, Alia enjoys composing music and is also (slowly) writing a novel. She loves running and is an enthusiastic supporter of Chelsea Football Club.
