Biography
As a Student Experience Officer within the School of Medicine, Millie supports students throughout their time on the MBBS programme. Her role focuses on enhancing the overall student experience by providing guidance, responding to queries, signposting to appropriate support and acting as a key point of contact. She works closely with academic and professional services teams and contributes to the coordination of key student-facing processes helping to ensure a clear, consistent and supportive experience for all our medical students.
Millie has a background in supporting individuals across both higher education and clinical settings. Prior to joining St Mary’s, she worked as a Mental Health Adviser at the London School of Economics, focusing on student wellbeing and engagement. Millie is also a qualified Mental Health Nurse, bringing an understanding of healthcare systems alongside experience in academic spaces. She is committed to supporting medical students, using this perspective to provide clear guidance and contribute to a positive student experience, helping to ensure they feel confident and able to get the most out of their studies.
Outside of work, Millie enjoys keeping active, whether at the gym or out on a bike ride, and making time for live music and theatre.
