Biography
Tahsin Ozalan is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and an experienced Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He teaches undergraduate accounting and finance modules, and contributes to assessment, moderation, and curriculum development.
Tahsin academic career spans multiple UK higher education institutions, including Richmond American University London, where he was Programme Director for BSc Accounting and Finance, Associate Professor, Link Tutor, and Academic Reviewer, leading programme development, quality assurance, and professional body accreditation. He is also an External Examiner and External Verifier for several UK and international programmes.
Prior to academia, Tahsin worked as a Financial Journalist in Turkey, and as a Market Analyst in London. He holds an MBA, a BSc in Applied Accounting, and professional qualifications with ACCA, IFA, and AAT, combining strong academic leadership with industry-informed teaching practice.
