Biography
Jonathan completed his BSc in Biological Sciences in 2013 at Lancaster University which included a year studying at the University of Miami, FL. Studying such a broad scientific programme and moving to St Mary's has given him the opportunity to continue his learning in a variety of fields. Since graduating, he has been employed by St Mary's in 2014 first as a Biosciences Technician in which time he also became a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, before moving to a multidisciplinary technical role in 2015 assisting with both Nutrition and Sports Rehabilitation programmes.
Being part of a highly skilled technical team that specialises in many different fields, Jonathan has enjoyed the variety of activity and research that takes place on campus and appreciates the opportunity he has had to assist in lab activities outside of his core knowledge area.
Jonathan plans to return to higher education in the near future to complete an MSc or higher in a Neuroscience-related field with the long term goal of progressing into a career more specific to his core scientific interests.
