Commonly asked finance questions
How much are the tuition fees?
Tuition fees in the UK depend on the level you are studying at (undergraduate, postgraduate, research) and whether you are classed as a Home/EU student or an overseas student.
St Mary's tuition fees are among the most competitive in London and we also offer a number of international scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students.
Are there any scholarships?
Overseas students can apply for one of St Mary's International Student Scholarships – these are available to new, full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students in any subject area.
For undergraduate applicants, the scholarship is worth £3,000 off the cost of your first year tuition fee. For postgraduate applicants the scholarships is worth £3,000 off the total cost of your tuition fee.
You must have already applied to St Mary's in order to be able to apply for a scholarship.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
If you are offered a place to study on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme at St Mary's, you will need to pay a minimum £2,000 deposit towards your tuition fees before we can issue a Certificate of Acceptance/CAS (necessary to apply for a student visa or student visa extension).
