Getting to and from Campus

By Bus

The 33 bus stops right outside the university and serves the areas Fulwell, Teddington, Twickenham, Richmond, East Sheen, Barnes and terminates in Hammersmith. Additionally the N33 is a night service, serving the same areas.  

The R68 bus stops along Strawberry Vale which is just a 5 minute walk to campus.  

Several buses stop on Twickenham high street including the 267, 281, 290, 490, H22, N22 and the R70, which are a 15 minute walk away.

By Rail

Strawberry Hill is the nearest train station to campus. It is located on Tower Road is just a 5 minute walk to campus. The train runs a loop service to London Waterloo via Richmond and Kingston and serves stations such as Clapham Junction, Barnes, Putney, Richmond, Teddington and New Malden. Trains via Richmond depart at 08 and 38 past the hour and train via Kingston depart at 07 and 37 past the hour.  

Additionally Fulwell train station is just a 15 minute walk from campus and runs a regular service to London Waterloo and Shepperton, with stops including Sunbury, Hampton, Teddington, Norbiton and Vauxhall. Trains to London Waterloo depart at 24 and 54 past the hour and trains to Shepperton depart at 19 and 49 past the hour.  

By Car

St Mary’s University is located on Waldegrave Road (A309). If using a SatNav, use the postcode TW1 4SX. There are 85 car parking spaces on campus and costs just £2 per day. 

By Air

Heathrow Airport is the nearest airport to St Mary’s University. Via the A312 it takes 25 minutes to drive. There are many bus routes that stop in Teddington and Twickenham including the 285, X26 and 490. 

By Taxi

There are multiple taxi services from local train stations including Strawberry Hill Mini Cab and Bats Cabs Teddington. You can also use the Uber app which provides a fast and price efficient service across London.
