St Mary's Students to Host Exhibition at BFI

Students from the BA Media Arts and BA Film & Screen Media programmes at St Mary’s University, Twickenham will be mounting an exhibition and screening of their work at the British Film Institute (BFI) Stephen Street on Friday June 17th. Examples of digital illustration, magazine, book, and poster design along with some corporate identity work will be on display in the BFI meeting rooms from 3pm until 7pm, while screenings of short films, documentaries, motion graphics and even some unplugged music footage will feature in the screening rooms beginning at 4pm. Programme Director for Media Arts Lee Brooks said, “We screened some of our short films at the BFI last year, and we are really excited to be building upon that this year, with a fuller display of the kind of exceptionally creative work that our students have produced.” ‪If you would like to attend the BFI exhibition please RSVP to susanne.gilbert@stmarys.ac.uk. A slightly amended version of the show will be on display on campus, in the red corner of the refectory from 20th to 23rd June.
