Biography
Chee teaches within the School of Medicine, with a focus on integrated and applied sciences including anatomy, clinical medicine, and clinical skills. She is actively involved in curriculum development and content generation for the MBBS programme, primarily for the IASCM module with contributions to clinical communication and skills.
Previously, she was an Anatomy Demonstrator and Undergraduate Clinical Supervisor at the University of Cambridge whilst working as a Clinical Fellow in Otolaryngology, servicing a large teaching hospital and research centre. She has contributed to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education with the delivery of multiple courses including regional cadaveric dissection programmes, preparation for membership examinations and an international anatomy teaching series.
She holds a strong interest in medical education, with a focus on iterative approaches and supporting learners through innovative teaching methods. She is passionate about incorporating digital and gamification tools in education to improve knowledge acquisition and retention, with recent experience in improving digital literacy in clinicians as a previous Digital Health Ambassador for NHS East of England. She is currently an Associate Fellow for the Higher Education Academy.
Chee graduated from the University of Manchester, after which she gained clinical experience as a resident doctor in the rainy North West region. She is also surgically-inclined and passed her membership examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons England, currently developing a grant-winning research project on temporal bone drilling.
Outside of work, Chee is an avid fan of board games with interests in tabletop game design, specialty teas and (almost) all kinds of music.

Ms Soon holds research interests in medical education, dissection studies, and otolaryngology, with numerous presentations and a recent award for the President's Prize for Best Oral Presentation by the British Association of Clinical Anatomists in 2025.
