Biography
Dr Harshil Joshi is a Lecturer in Computer Science and Course Lead for the MSc Computer Science programme at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. He has extensive experience in higher education teaching, research, and curriculum development in the areas of computer networks and cyber security.
At St Mary’s University, he teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervises student research projects. As Course Lead, he is responsible for supporting programme delivery, enhancing the student learning experience, and contributing to the strategic development of postgraduate computing programmes.
He also participates in international academic collaborations and conferences and has served as a keynote speaker and advisory board member for international computing conferences. His work focuses on bridging theoretical computing concepts with practical industry applications, helping students develop the technical and problem-solving skills required in the modern digital economy.
Outside of academia, I enjoy exploring new technologies, reading about emerging trends in artificial intelligence and cyber security, and engaging in technology-driven innovation. I also enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and exploring new cultures and cuisines. I have a keen interest in entrepreneurship and enjoy analysing ideas related to technology and digital services.
