Biography
Jenny joined St Mary’s in September 2013 and lectures on the master's Programme at St Mary’s University and GLF Schools’ Teacher Training Programme. In addition to her lecturing duties, she is responsible for out-of-sequence PGCE students; ensuring they are supporting meeting all aspects of their course.
Previously, Jenny worked as a class teacher and PE Co-ordinator in two London schools and played a key role in developing sport and physical opportunities for young people.
She completed her Masters focusing on strategies to support PGCE trainees when faced with challenges on school experience. As a result, these have been introduced across ITT programmes.
In 2015, Jenny was a crewmember part of the Clipper Round the World Race. She regularly shares her experiences and links her time on the boat to leadership and management theory.
