Biography
Dr Keerthi Ramesh joined the School of Medicine as a Lecturer in Medical Education in 2026. In her role, she contributes to the delivery of undergraduate medical education across a broad range of subjects, including basic sciences, clinical skills, and communication skills, helping students develop the knowledge and competencies required for modern clinical practice.
Dr Ramesh graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry before beginning her career as a resident doctor. Her enthusiasm for teaching and supporting learners emerged during her time as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Paediatrics, where she discovered a particular passion for medical education. This experience inspired her to pursue a career that combines clinical practice with the education and development of future healthcare professionals.
Before joining the School of Medicine, Dr Ramesh worked at Brunel University London, where she taught both medical students and Physician Associate students. She values creating engaging and supportive learning environments that encourage students to develop confidence, professionalism, and lifelong learning skills.Alongside her academic responsibilities, Dr Ramesh continues clinical work, enabling her to bring current healthcare experience into her teaching.
Outside of work, Dr Ramesh enjoys reading, crocheting and baking.
