Liz teaches on the primary undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She has a B.Ed. (Hons) in Primary Physical Education from Nottingham Trent University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from St Mary’s University (HEA Fellow).
Liz Joined St Mary’s University in April 2019 after teaching in primary schools in Surrey for 19 years. During her time in school, Liz was a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Liz was seconded from teaching and joined Surrey as a Primary PE Advisor. In this role, Liz supported staff in schools and delivered the National PE and School Sport CPD programme throughout Surrey.
With 23 years of experience in the education sector Liz understands the enormous benefit that a high quality, inclusive PE curriculum can bring to children’s health, well-being, confidence, and self-esteem.
