Biography
Stephen is Course Lead for the Masters Programme MA Applied Catholic Theology. He is Module Lead for the course Basics Principles in Catholic Social Thought.
He works with students as personal tutor, and he project manages the development of St Mary’s in Scotland.
Stephen received a PhD in Political theology from the University of Edinburgh, where he also completed his undergraduate and masters degrees in theology. He has taught on various undergraduate courses for the University of Edinburgh, and was awarded the Student Tutor of the Year award for his teaching excellence.
He has worked with various institutions to organise academic events and conferences, including at the university of Cambridge and with the Centre for theology and public issues in Edinburgh.

Stephen's research interests include Christianity and Nationalism, religion and the nation state, Hungarian politics and Christianity, Catholic Social Thought, and more.
Stephen is currently working on the political thought of Joseph Ratzinger.
