Biography
As Assessment Manager Sy works on leading the internal operational delivery of the MBBS programmes examinations and assessments. This includes OSCE operations, ensuring that reasonable adjustments are upheld during exams, written examinations, results processing and communications to student are clear about their exam periods.Sy has previously worked at Brunel University of London within the Medical School ensuring the standards for the operational needs for exams and assessments. Sy worked to create the blueprinting methods used for Phase 2 exams and assessments and took lead on the exam platform used. Prior to Brunel Sy worked with in many areas including SEN, Braille interpretation and 999 call handling and dispatching. Sy is passionate about developing and maintaining strong examination and assessment processes to ensure high-quality experiences for the students going through them. He also has a keen interest in the psychology around assessment and assessment theory. Outside of work, Sy enjoys a good book and is currently working on building his antique book collection.
