Biography

Tara graduated from Brunel University, London in 2004 with a first class degree BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, having already gained a BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science at Leeds.

She worked for 10 years within the NHS, based at Croydon University NHS Trust and Kingston Hospital NHS trust with most of her time dedicated to Orthopaedics and Musculo- skeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. This included teaching classes and leading hydrotherapy sessions.

In 2013 she joined Weybridge & Walton Physiotherapy private clinic, treating a wide range of MSK conditions. Tara’s passion is lower limb trauma, treating sports athletes and post op patients, always hoping to make a big difference to each individual.

She has taught Physio- led Pilates classes for the past 10 years and now runs her own business, ‘Core Reigate Pilates’, which following lockdown, offers both face to face and virtual classes.

Tara joined St Mary’s University in January 2022 and loves working with a group of motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Lecturers.
