I absolutely loved my experience at St Mary’s. The teaching was great and all my lecturers knew me by name. They all had time to spend one to one with me which I found invaluable. The campus itself was lovely and friendly. The facilities were great and wish I could come back! One of my highlights was the trip to Disneyland Paris in my third year, as part of our studies.
The transport links were easy and the local area is lovely. I can see why Teddington has just been voted the number one place to live in London!
Since graduating I have worked in the Media industry. I went to IBC in Amsterdam on work experience as part of one of my degree modules. I am grateful for this experience as it resulted in a full-time job that I started as soon as I finished at St Mary’s. I now work as a Post Production Bookings Co-ordinator for Sky Sports and my degree definitely helped me get to where I am.
Students should choose St Mary’s because it’s a small, friendly university in a fantastic area. I made friends for life at St Mary’s and loved every minute of my three years there. I would advise future students to enjoy themselves and study something that they love.
